DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, April 1 from 9:45 am to 12 pm we will hold the 36th Annual Social Work Day at the United Nations! Each year\, 500-700 social work students\, educators and practitioners convene at the United Nations from around the country and the world to learn about global issues that affect social work practice and to show U.N. leaders that social workers care about and should be part of global solutions. In keeping with the Global Agenda theme of “strengthening the recognition of the importance of human relationships\,” our theme for the 2019 conference is Strengthening Human Relationships; Policies and Programs to Protect Children. \n
